Coming at the series with fresh eyes, the crew discussed the improvement of the sequel trilogy from that viewpoint, the appeal of the ground-level Star Wars that isn't Jedi or politics-heavy, and how violent Star Wars secretly is (and how it gets away with it). Also, apparently Luke Skywalker is terrible? All film takes aside, the group also talked about crafting in Star Wars and Mardi Gras and what goes into all of that. Give us a listen!

On the 106th episode of the WhoDatJedi podcast, your hosts -- Aaron Svoboda (@Aaron_Svoboda), Alfredo Narvaez (@NOLA_Fredo) and David Gladow (@davegladow) -- analyze the final (seventh) chapter of "The Book of Boba Fett," the live action spinoff series to "The Mandalorian" on Disney+. Not that there was any doubt about any of this, but this is a full-blown space western now, which basically just serves as an excuse to blow things up in a really cool way. The reason this still works is they get the "blow things up in a really cool way" part right. Everyone here is having an enormous amount of fun (except maybe the Pykes), so let's do that as well. Sit back and just enjoy. Kind of a foreign concept for Star Wars fans, we know, but let's do it. And then let's speculate on the future.

It's the 104th episode of the WhoDatJedi podcast! This week, your hosts -- Aaron Svoboda (@Aaron_Svoboda), Alfredo Narvaez (@NOLA_Fredo) and Dave Gladow (@davegladow) -- jump into the fifth chapter of "The Book of Boba Fett," the live action spinoff series to "The Mandalorian" on Disney+. The big topic, naturally, is how big of a departure this episode ended up being. As a part of telling a story about this particular character, it's really tough to evaluate, because it doesn't do that at all. Taken simply as a piece of Star Wars media, though? It's brilliant. The guys talk about how this is the "Brown Eyed Girl" of the set list, how it gives us better insight into a fan favorite character, appreciate how dripping with prequel-era nostalgia it is, and what it might tell us about the future of "The Mandalorian."
