The Rise of Skywalker: Sheev Lives! (But why?)

Your hosts -- Aaron Svoboda (@Aaron_Svoboda), Alfredo Narvaez (@NOLA_Fredo) and David Gladow (@davegladow) -- revisit Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker with a specific focus on the Emperor's return. Palpatine! Darth Sidious! Sheev! They get into specific problems they had with the execution of the storyline of his return and how it might have been improved. But they also ask and attempt to answer the question: Why even bring him back in the first place? He was a big part of the marketing push, so the conversation also addresses the trailers and looks at how specific elements from the trailers were expanded on in the film. Did this movie deliver on what it was promising?
